If you like
action thrillers, this is a movie for you.
We see an ordinary
man living a peaceful life. He doesn’t have a family or many friends. He knows
a young girl, a prostitute, who gets beaten up by her boss, following some
incidents. What will the protagonist do in such a situation?
There is a
good deal of suspense with the main character, being played by Denzel
Washington. The action sequences are worth watching. It is not like you have
never seen such stunts; but then too, you will be having goose bumps at times.
The scene in the above poster was the one I liked the most.
The
drawback mainly lies with the story. There is no plot twists or gripping events
happening in the story. What grips you to the seat is; the action. Denzel
Washington sees to it that he will be remembered for his performance. There are
excellent dialogue deliveries worth remembering, so as to use it some day in
your life (may be, to your friends).
Another
thing good about the movie is the visuals. Art director, cinematographer and
director had done a real good job there. Background music also had a crucial
role in creating mood and enhancing the visuals
Overall,
not a must watch, but watch it if you like action.
